Commemorative Bricks

Honor your rugby achievements, commemorate your time with the Aardvarks, and support your team with a brick in the John Laing Memorial Courtyard. The engraved bricks, placed in the courtyard at Aardvark Park, are the perfect way to honor a loved one or teammate or celebrate your rugby career.

For a minimum contribution of $100 (or more) to the Rochester Aardvarks Rugby Football Club, you will receive one 4” x 8” brick with a personalized inscription of your choice. Brick orders are accepted year-round and placed in the courtyard twice a year, in the Spring and Fall.

Important to Note:

• Each brick may be inscribed with up to three lines of 15 characters each.
• Spaces, punctuation next to initials, and apostrophes all count as part of the 15 characters per line.
• All engraving will be done in CAPITAL LETTERS ONLY and the inscription will be centered on the brick.
• We cannot accommodate an inscription longer than three lines, 15 characters per line. If your inscription is more than three lines of 15 characters, we recommend shortening the inscription or ordering an additional brick to accommodate your message.
• There are 15 columns with Roman numerals I – XV corresponding with the rugby position numbers.  You can request your brick(s) be placed in a specific column if desired
• Executive Committee members will review the content of the messaging to maintain a wholesome, family-based theme to the content. The brick messages should be honorary and not used to denigrate or insult others.
• Complete the message form on the pdf you can download below. Place 1 character in each area of the form. Save the pdf and email it to: treasurer@rochesteraardvarks.org.
• Payment for your brick can be done with the PayPal button on the right. Please Note: You must create a Paypal account, or use an existing Paypal account in order to use this payment option. Do not try to pay as a guest. You will get errors.
